Hypnosis Session Terms & Conditions
In these terms and conditions, the terms “Company” and/or “We” refer to Happy Space Hypnosis.
Upon booking your appointment, you will be given confirmation of costs, cancellation policy, payment details etc., which you should read and ensure you are happy with. Along with your payment details you will be asked to give your contact details. This will then form an agreement between you and the Company for your session work.
COMMITMENT
Successful sessions rely on your commitment and motivation. When you agree to partake in your hypnosis sessions, you, as the client, agree to be fully involved and committed to the process, which may include self-work if necessary. This also includes attending your sessions and arriving on time.
You accept that sessions are formulated based on the information you supply, which you represent and warrant to be complete and truthful.
Ongoing sessions will always be discussed with you and you are free to end or withdraw from sessions at any time. The cost of any sessions paid for in advance but not used will be refunded on request, subject to my cancellation policy. Refunds will reflect the actual price paid if special offers have been used.
SESSIONS
Your hypnosis session will last approximately 1 to 1½ hours. Please allow yourself enough time for this.
If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to make a full session available, but this often depends on appointments subsequent to your booking and so cannot be guaranteed. If your session needs to be curtailed due to your late arrival then the session fee remains payable in full.
Your session will take place online unless stated otherwise.
FEES
Fees are listed on the website. The fee will be agreed upon before your first session.
Payment methods are Credit Card, Check, and Cash.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We appreciate at least 24-hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, so that we may offer it to someone else. The charge for sessions cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will be 50% of the full session fee.
If you wish to cancel then, please phone or email immediately.
The Company reserves the right to cancel an appointment at their sole discretion. This will only be in exceptional circumstances and as much notice as is possible will be given. The Company shall not be liable for any financial or other consequences of the cancellation.
A “no show” will also attract a charge of 50% of the arranged fee.
REFUND POLICY
Hypnosis services are not eligible for refunds as the time has been allocated.
The hypnotist facilitates change by guiding the use of hypnotic suggestions. The hypnotist cannot control or force the client to change or do anything they do not want to do. If the client has any concerns during or immediately following a hypnosis session, it is in the client’s best interest to communicate with the hypnotist as soon as possible.
If the hypnotist has any concerns throughout the client session, the concerns will be discussed with the client to determine the recommended next steps. The client has the option to take the recommendation or to not go ahead with future sessions.
Although Happy Space Hypnosis has had great results, results cannot be guaranteed and may vary based on the mindset of the client, the desire to change and the commitment to follow instructions during and after the session.
DISCLAIMER
We will always do our best to help you achieve a successful outcome in the session work. However, you accept that an agreement to work on an issue does not mean that a particular outcome to therapy can be guaranteed. Fees are payable for your sessions and the time and expertise of the hypnotist, regardless of the outcome. Results may differ from person to person.
With pain management sessions, if you wish to reduce or stop any medication then medical support must be obtained. This appointment does not replace medical advice and assistance. You will be accepting full responsibility for turning the pain off, and advised to take note of any new pain, if it arises, and seek medical attention. Similarly, for sleep, stress management or other issues, if you wish to reduce or stop any medication then medical support must be obtained.
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR
We will use best practices at all times and adhere to the standards of conduct as stated by my governing bodies.
In return by attending your session you agree to the following standards of behavior:
Be free from drugs and alcohol (except medication prescribed by your doctor).
You will not harm yourself or others (including any employees of the Company) or any property belonging to the Company or others.
Take your hypnotist seriously and treat the Company and the Company’s hypnotist with respect.
If you demonstrate violent, abusive or anti-social behavior, the Company reserves the right to cancel the session and any future sessions.
PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
Keeping and maintaining records is required for all clients and for anyone who makes an enquiry. These records are kept both in written form and electronically. Your information will be protected by reasonable security safe guards against loss and theft, unauthorized access or use. Your information will never be sold or distributed unless required by law.
You will be added to our mailing lists to receive newsletters and special offers. If you wish to be removed from these you can unsubscribe at any time or notify the Company in writing. Spam will never be sent to you.
For supervision and training purposes and continuing professional development anonymous case histories may be shared with other hypnotists to strategize and optimize our session work. Anonymous means your personal details are removed and no information that might identify you is used. If you do not wish your information to be used in this way, please inform the Company via email.
The Company will respect client confidentiality at all times except if:
You reveal you intend to harm yourself or another person.
You reveal that a child is being abused or is in danger of abuse.
We are compelled to reveal information by a court order.
You reveal you are a member of a terrorist organization – this must be reported to the police.
You reveal you are laundering money from the sale of drugs – this must be reported to the police
QUESTIONS OR COMPLAINTS
If you have any questions or complaints about your therapy, you agree to talk to your hypnotist about them first.
